Mike came to my house looking for a ‘good dog’….. his first Ridgeback.  His wife Linda had a Lab and trained in Obedience.  But a Ridgeback?  It was his choice…. I’m not sure what everyone was thinking at the time….

I just knew this girl better be smart…. Could she do it all, did she have what it takes, did he have what it takes??  It remained to be seen.  So fingers crossed and prayers said, and Hannah was her name.

So here they are at the RRCUS National Specialty, his first time in the Obedience Ring…. With a girl named Hannah.

7 years ago Mike walked into the Obedience Ring with Ridgeback Hannah at our National Specialty….. I hope you not only enjoy the photos, I hope it gives you inspiration.  Just do it!!  And the rest will be history…

Hannah has earned her CD (Companion Dog Title) as well as her Rally RAE3 Title.  Hannah and Mike have qualified for the AKC Rally National Championship for 7 years.

She is Dual Titled in conformation and lure coursing, as well as her CD and Rally Titles.  Hannah is also the only Juba Lee dog to win a RRCUS TRIATHLON!! Let me say that again, THEY WON THE TRIATHLON!!

THANK YOU Mike and Hannah.  I have only twice put a CD title on my dogs years ago (Judy and Bob) and I know the time, the love and the patience that goes into training. 

The bond that the two of you have is so strong and rewarding.  Hannah is now a Veteran with so many memories to share.  I just want everyone to see the return on your time and investment, its priceless.
